Neighbour threatened with kitchen knife in Frankenthal
A 30-year-old man allegedly threatened his 61-year-old neighbour with a kitchen knife in Frankenthal on Saturday evening. The two men had first argued on Albertstraße, and police said the 30-year-old kicked his neighbour in the leg.
The man then fetched the knife from his home and threatened the neighbour with it. As he did not calm down after police arrived, he was held in custody overnight. Officers seized the knife, and criminal proceedings for assault and making threats have been initiated.
