Cyclist threatens father and son with kitchen knife in Lübeck
An unidentified cyclist allegedly insulted and threatened a 62-year-old man and his 25-year-old son in Lübeck on 14 June. Following an argument at traffic lights on Ratzeburger Allee, the man followed the two cyclists to Zeisigweg. He is alleged to have threatened to stab them there. When the father and son later rode past him, police said he swung a kitchen knife at the 62-year-old and narrowly missed. The two men cycled to a petrol station and contacted police. The suspect was not found despite a search.
