Pocket knife used in attempted robbery by Münster canal
Early on 14 June, two men allegedly tried to steal a 31-year-old pedestrian's wristwatch beside the canal near Schillerbrücke in Münster. According to police, a 32-year-old suspect used a pocket knife, causing minor injuries to the man; his 47-year-old companion also sustained minor injuries.
The two suspects fled without any loot. Officers later located the 32-year-old and took him into custody. A pocket knife believed to have been used was found and seized on Wolbecker Straße. The injured man was taken to hospital by ambulance, while police continue to search for the second suspect.
