Man injured in knife stabbing at Jungfernheide park
A 51-year-old man was injured in the abdomen in a knife stabbing early on 14 June at Jungfernheide park in Charlottenburg-Nord. He told police that he had been walking his dog and giving it commands in Ukrainian when two unknown men asked about his nationality. After he said he was Ukrainian, one of the men allegedly stabbed him.
According to police, the two unknown men fled towards Heckerdamm. Emergency crews took the injured man to hospital for inpatient treatment, and police said his life was not believed to be in danger. A specialist unit of Berlin Police Directorate 2 (West) is investigating.
