Man seriously injured in knife attack in Lichtenfels

Unidentified suspects attacked a 44-year-old man with a knife on the Franz-Joseph-Strauß Bridge in Lichtenfels at 10:18 p.m. on 23 June. The man suffered serious injuries and called police himself. Emergency personnel took him to hospital, and his condition was later stable. The suspects fled towards the railway station or town centre. The police search was unsuccessful and criminal investigators are examining the case.
