Man injured with knife in Leverkusen robbery
According to police, a 24-year-old man was injured in a robbery in a park near Am Büchelter Hof in Leverkusen-Wiesdorf on 18 July. An unidentified man allegedly sprayed him with pepper spray before three suspects allegedly injured him with a telescopic baton and a knife. The man handed over his bag containing cash and escaped when the men tried to take his watch. Two suspects were arrested at residential addresses and a third turned himself in at a police station. Pre-trial detention orders were issued for all three.
