Minor injured with knife at party in Egling

At the Blauliachd party in Egling on the evening of 18 July, a minor was allegedly seriously injured in the right forearm with a knife. A 20-year-old companion was reportedly knocked to the ground by the same offender beforehand and sustained a minor head injury. Police said the minor underwent surgery and that none of the injured people were in danger of dying.

The initially unknown suspect allegedly fled. Following the search, a young adult was arrested and brought before an investigating judge, who ordered pre-trial detention on suspicion of dangerous bodily harm. Further altercations at the festival also caused injuries, but police said there was no evidence linking the suspect to them.
