19-year-old remanded after knife attack in Leonberg
A 19-year-old allegedly injured an 18-year-old man in the leg with a folding knife in Leonberg's municipal park on Saturday evening. Police said the two had met following personal disputes. Emergency services took the injured man to hospital, where he received outpatient treatment before being released. Officers provisionally arrested the suspect elsewhere in Leonberg. On Sunday, a judge ordered his pre-trial detention on suspicion of attempted homicide at the request of prosecutors; the investigation is ongoing.
