Man injured after altercation on Leipzig tram

On 26 January at around 23:20, two men allegedly threatened and insulted a 30-year-old man with a pointed object on a tram at Bayrischer Platz in Leipzig. The ensuing altercation moved outside. The 30-year-old suffered cuts and required hospital treatment. Police located a 21-year-old suspect at the scene, who was allowed to leave after police measures were completed. The second suspect remains unknown and is being sought.
