Man threatens two men with knife in Stollberg
A 20-year-old man is alleged to have attacked two men and then threatened them with a knife at an apartment building on Glückaufstraße in Stollberg on the evening of 26 January. The two residents had approached occupants of an apartment because of noise. Police said the man first struck a 24-year-old man in the face several times and also attacked his 20-year-old companion when he tried to help. Both men sustained minor injuries but did not require medical treatment. They fled to the building's basement, where the alleged attacker is said to have followed and threatened them with a knife. Officers later found the suspect in the apartment and took him into custody. He is under investigation for assault and making threats.
