Man threatens police officers with knife at Leer railway station
On 29 January, a man threatened police officers with a knife during a police operation at Leer railway station. Earlier, police had checked him and ordered him to leave after a threat against an employee of a food-service business in the station building. He then again drew attention through aggressive conduct near the bus station. The man was taken into custody, and at least two witnesses observed the incident.
