Man threatens neighbours with knife in Gera
A 38-year-old man is alleged to have entered the home of a 43-year-old neighbour without permission on the evening of January 28 on Karl-Matthes-Straße in Gera and threatened him with a knife. Police said he then also threatened another resident with the knife. Officers secured the knife at his home. Early the next morning, the man allegedly threatened his neighbours again. Police took him into custody and handed him over to medical professionals; nobody was injured. Investigations are under way, including on suspicion of attempted bodily harm and threats.
