Intoxicated man threatens security staff in Göppingen with kitchen knife

An intoxicated 33-year-old man allegedly threatened security staff with a kitchen knife at a refugee accommodation facility on Stuttgarter Straße in Göppingen shortly before 12:30 a.m. on 29 January. After security staff had previously told him to stop shouting loudly, he returned and waved the knife in front of them. He ran away, injured his own hand in the process, and was arrested by police shortly afterwards. He was taken to hospital for treatment and is under investigation on suspicion of making threats.
