Man threatens passers-by with kitchen knife in Lauenau
A 20-year-old man is alleged to have harassed passers-by and threatened them with a kitchen knife at the parking area of an EDEKA store and near the central bus station in Lauenau at about 2:30 p.m. on Friday. He then fled on foot along Coppenbrügger Landstraße. He was later again reported for aggressive conduct in the parking area between Penny and Aldi, where he allegedly made threats and insults after customers addressed him. Several police patrols apprehended him and took further police measures. According to the current information, nobody was injured.
