Man threatens police officers with knife in Kaufbeuren
Police intercepted a man in Kaufbeuren around midday on Friday while, according to authorities, he was heading toward his former girlfriend's home. Police had learned of his plan beforehand. When officers stopped him shortly before he reached the address, he pulled a knife and pointed it at them. The man surrendered after officers threatened to use a firearm and was taken into custody. Nobody was injured.
