Two petrol stations robbed in Moers with a kitchen knife
A masked offender robbed two petrol stations in Moers on Friday. At about 6:20 p.m., he threatened an employee at a petrol station on Uerdinger Straße with a kitchen knife, reached into the cash register after it was opened and took cash. A customer was still standing at the checkout at the time.
A second robbery at a petrol station on Römerstraße was reported late that evening. The cashier did not open the register, and the offender fled on foot. Police said the method and offender description were identical in both cases and appealed for information.
