Man allegedly attacked employee with knife at Kerpen-Sindorf station
On 24 April, a 37-year-old man allegedly attacked an employee with a knife and brass knuckles at Kerpen-Sindorf station at around 5 p.m. He is alleged to have taken a partially opened cigarette pack from the rear entrance of a supermarket beforehand. When an employee confronted him at the station, the man allegedly tried to attack and hit him. The employee restrained him until police arrived. Officers seized, among other items, the knife and brass knuckles and provisionally detained the suspect; the investigation is ongoing.
