Person found injured with a knife in Gelsenkirchen-Hassel
During a police operation in Gelsenkirchen-Hassel on 24 April at about 3 a.m., officers found a 50-year-old person in an apartment who had been injured with a knife. According to police, the injury was not life-threatening and the injured person was taken to hospital. The other 47-year-old person present in the apartment was provisionally detained but released after further inquiries. The precise sequence of events remains under investigation under the direction of the Essen public prosecutor's office.
