Man remanded in custody after knife threat during robbery in Kempten

At a car park on Magnusstraße in Kempten, a 37-year-old man is alleged to have attacked a 23-year-old acquaintance and demanded cash while using pepper spray. Police said he reinforced the demand by threatening him with a knife. After failing to obtain money, he allegedly fled with the victim's keys. The victim briefly pursued him but collapsed under the effects of the pepper spray and was treated until paramedics arrived. Police arrested the suspect, and an investigating judge ordered pre-trial detention on suspicion of aggravated robbery and dangerous bodily harm.
