Elderly couple threatened with knife and robbed in Würselen
In the night before 13 July, three men allegedly forced their way into an elderly couple's home in Würselen. They threatened both residents with a knife, tried to tie up the woman using clothing and searched the flat. They then fled with cash found inside.
Two days earlier, two men had entered the same home by posing as tradesmen. They tied up the woman's partner and demanded valuables, but fled empty-handed after she called for help. The man sustained minor injuries in the first incident. Police currently believe the two robberies may be connected and are investigating.
