Man seriously injured in knife robbery in Cologne
In a robbery in Cologne's old town on 13 July, a 25-year-old man is alleged to have attacked a 30-year-old man with a knife. According to the current investigation, the suspect demanded money on Eintrachtstraße at around 8 a.m. and stabbed the man several times during the handover. The victim was seriously injured and taken to hospital. The suspect initially fled with the proceeds but was arrested near the scene shortly afterwards and was due to appear before a remand judge.
