43-year-old seriously injured in knife attack after pub dispute in Kassel
A 43-year-old man suffered a serious stab injury to his hand during an attack in Kassel in the night of 27 July 2026. He told police that he had first become involved in a verbal dispute with an unknown man inside a pub. Outside the venue on Fünffensterstraße, the other man allegedly drew a knife and attacked him. The injured man was taken to hospital. The assailant fled towards Obere Königsstraße, and the initial search was unsuccessful. Criminal police are investigating on suspicion of dangerous bodily harm.
