Attempted robbery at petrol station in Bretzfeld
A masked man attempted to rob a petrol station in Bretzfeld-Bitzfeld on Monday morning. At about 7 a.m., he demanded money from an employee while displaying a small kitchen knife. The 54-year-old offered to retrieve cash from her bag but also took out pepper spray and held it toward the man without using it. He then left the petrol station and fled by bicycle toward the town centre. Criminal police are seeking witnesses.
