Teenager threatened with knife during e-scooter robbery
On Sunday, 4 October 2026, at about 3:30 p.m., a teenager allegedly threatened another teenager with a knife at a playground on Bergstraße in Hünfelden and demanded his e-scooter. The victim tried to ride away, but the suspect, who was also riding an e-scooter, caught up with him and took it. Because the victim knew the suspect, police identified him soon afterward. They recovered the stolen e-scooter, provisionally detained the teenager and handed him over to his guardians after completing their procedures.
