Woman slightly injured in knife attack at Friedrichshafen apartment
A 58-year-old woman was slightly injured while fending off an alleged attack with a kitchen knife in an apartment on Charlottenstraße. According to the initial findings, she had argued there with a 47-year-old man she knew on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at around 10:15 a.m. She did not need treatment from emergency medical services. Police arrested the man at the scene without resistance and seized the knife. On Monday, a judge issued a pre-trial detention order against him on suspicion of attempted manslaughter; he is being held in a correctional facility. Prosecutors and criminal police are continuing to investigate the circumstances.
