Man allegedly injures partner with knife in Holzkirchen
A 54-year-old man allegedly attacked and seriously injured his 50-year-old partner with a knife in their shared home in Holzkirchen on the evening of 12 January. According to police, the woman reported the incident herself and was treated as an inpatient for a significant cut injury to her head; her life was not at risk. The man had left the home before officers arrived but was arrested in Holzkirchen later that evening. Investigators are pursuing suspected attempted homicide. At the prosecutor's request, an investigating judge issued a detention warrant against the accused.
