Knife displayed during attack after dispute at Hofheim station
A 32-year-old man was attacked at about 9:40 p.m. on 20 January at the S-Bahn station on Hattersheimer Straße in Hofheim after a dispute. He had previously become involved in an argument with five young men while travelling on replacement rail transport. According to police, two people from the group struck him with an iron bar and a belt and displayed a knife to him. The group fled after the man alerted police. Two 19-year-olds were checked nearby and released after police measures; investigations into further participants and the sequence of events are continuing.
