Petrol station robbed at knifepoint in Gelsenkirchen

On 20 January, at about 4 p.m., an as-yet unidentified man entered the cashier area of a petrol station on Lindenstraße in Gelsenkirchen's Buer district. Wearing his hood up, he held a knife in one hand, demanded cash from the 54-year-old cashier and received it. He then fled with the money along Lindenstraße towards the bus station. Police are seeking witnesses who saw anything in the Lindenstraße or bus-station area.
