Man threatened with knife in Hof
A 34-year-old man allegedly threatened a 46-year-old man with a knife outside a facility for homeless people on Sedanstraße in Hof. Police said the incident on Thursday morning followed a dispute over alleged debts. The attacker also allegedly tried to kick the other man in the stomach, but people present ended the confrontation. Nobody was injured. On the application of prosecutors, an investigating judge issued a detention order against the suspect, including on suspicion of attempted aggravated extortion.
