Man threatens police officers in Eisenberg with a push dagger

A 55-year-old man allegedly threatened police officers in Eisenberg with a push dagger. Officers had previously encountered him outside an event venue, confiscated an iron bar he was carrying and issued him an exclusion order. Nearly an hour later, police said he caused a disturbance at a nearby cash machine. When officers spoke to him, he allegedly drew the knife. He dropped it after pepper spray was used and officers threatened to use a firearm. The man was taken into custody, medically examined and then brought to a specialist hospital.
