Man arrested after attempted knife robbery involving a watch
During an arranged watch sale in Frankfurt am Main on 21 August 2025, a 54-year-old man allegedly drew a knife and demanded a valuable wristwatch from the 31-year-old seller. According to police, the seller responded with a blank-firing gun he was carrying and told the man not to move. The suspect remained there until officers arrived and arrested him. Police are investigating the attempted robbery, while the seller is also under investigation over his possession of the blank-firing gun.
