Petrol station employee injured in attempted robbery in Hildesheim

During the night of 16 April, a masked suspect allegedly robbed a petrol station on Frankenstraße in Hildesheim. According to initial findings, he entered the sales area at about 01:20 and demanded money while displaying a knife. The employee refused to hand over money and drove the suspect away, suffering a hand injury in the process. He was later treated at a hospital. A search for the fleeing suspect was unsuccessful, and police are investigating attempted aggravated robbery while seeking witnesses.
