Man allegedly extorted car keys at knifepoint in Pilgerzell
A 41-year-old man allegedly forced a 43-year-old man to hand over his car key at knifepoint in Pilgerzell on 8 December. He is said to have intended to flee in the vehicle but was arrested at the scene shortly afterwards. According to the authorities, the suspect put up substantial resistance during subsequent police measures and later in custody, attacking officers. Nine police officers were injured over the two days, and two were unable to continue working. The man was placed in court-ordered accommodation on 9 December; investigators are examining allegations including robbery extortion and assault on enforcement officers.
