Man attacks police officers with machete in Werdohl
A 35-year-old man caused a disturbance in his apartment in the Eveking district of Werdohl during the early morning hours. His partner fled into the street and called police. When officers approached the heavily intoxicated man, he suddenly drew a machete and moved toward them. The officers used a conducted-energy device and subdued him. Nobody was injured. The man was taken into custody to sober up and was reported for assaulting law-enforcement officers.
