Man injured in knife attack in Heiligenhafen car park
A 32-year-old man was injured in a knife attack in the car park of a shopping centre on Höhenweg in Heiligenhafen on the evening of Saturday, 6 December 2025. Police said a dispute had allegedly begun after the driver of a nearby parked car repeatedly struck the later victim's vehicle with its door. Two unidentified men then allegedly approached the 32-year-old with a knife. He injured his right hand while defending himself and fled to a shop. An employee provided first aid, and the man was taken to hospital for further treatment. The two suspects left in a vehicle; police are investigating on suspicion of dangerous bodily harm.
