Two men injured in attack outside Heidelberg nightclub
At about 05:00 on 1 August, two groups became involved in an altercation outside a nightclub on Hauptstraße in Heidelberg's old town. According to initial findings, around three to five people punched and kicked two men aged 23 and 28, leaving both with several injuries. The 28-year-old also suffered cuts to his upper arm from an as-yet unknown weapon or pointed object and required hospital treatment. One suspect was arrested nearby, while police are seeking the other suspected participants.
