Man arrested after threatening people with two knives in Wiesbaden
Following an altercation at Platz der Deutschen Einheit in Wiesbaden, a 31-year-old man allegedly pursued two men with two knives on 31 July at around 15:25. According to initial findings, the two men had previously assaulted him together. Police officers located the man shortly afterwards. After being warned that a conducted-energy device could be used, he put down the knives and attempted to flee. A passer-by held him until he was arrested. The man was then admitted to a psychiatric clinic; the two other people involved were also temporarily arrested. Police are investigating the circumstances.
