25-year-old critically injured on bus in Hanau
A 25-year-old man was critically injured on a bus in Hanau on Monday evening. Police and prosecutors said a dispute involving a minor, the later victim and another companion had preceded the attack at about 6:20 p.m. During a physical confrontation, the minor is alleged to have used a knife against the 25-year-old. Emergency responders took the injured man to hospital, and the suspect was provisionally detained after initially leaving the scene. Investigators are treating the case as suspected attempted homicide.
