Two men injured in knife stabbing in Hamburg
Two men, aged 54 and 58, were injured by multiple knife stabs at an accommodation facility in Hamburg-Sülldorf on Thursday morning. According to the investigation so far, they had previously become involved in an altercation with a man they at least knew casually. The injured men received medical treatment and underwent emergency surgery in hospital; their condition was stable. The attacker initially fled. Investigators later provisionally arrested a 20-year-old suspected perpetrator in Hamburg-Altona, and a knife believed to be the weapon was secured. A decision on a detention warrant was still pending.
