Man threatens neighbour with knife in Großengottern
In an apartment building on Bahnhofstraße in Großengottern, a 56-year-old man threatened a neighbour with a knife on Wednesday evening. The heavily intoxicated man said he had heard noises in the basement and suspected a burglar before meeting the neighbour in the hallway. Police found his blood alcohol level to be above two per mille and took the knife from him. Minutes after that operation ended, he called to report that neighbours had attacked him; he had minor injuries, but their cause could not be established because of his intoxication.
