Two men threaten 21-year-old with knife in Alsbach
A 21-year-old man escaped an attempted robbery on Benno-Elkan-Allee in Alsbach at about 11:15 p.m. on September 30. Two unidentified men had first asked him to change some money. When they saw that he had little cash, they threatened him with a knife and demanded that he withdraw money from a bank. He ran away and alerted police; an initial search did not locate the men. Detectives are examining a possible connection to another robbery in Alsbach that night.
