Two men injured with knife during dispute in Gera
Two men aged 21 and 39 suffered cut injuries after a dispute in their shared apartment in Gera. They went to an emergency department shortly after midnight, and medical staff alerted police.
Both men said an argument over taking out the rubbish had escalated. Police said a knife was allegedly used first against the other man and then against the person wielding it. It initially remained unclear who held the knife because the two men accused each other. The 39-year-old had a substantially deeper cut injury, while the 21-year-old was injured only superficially. Police seized the suspected weapon at the apartment and opened investigations against both men on suspicion of dangerous bodily harm.
