Man, 68, threatens staff with pointed instrument in Gartz
A 68-year-old man allegedly threatened staff at a care facility in Gartz (Oder) with a pointed instrument on 20 July 2025. He had previously performed a Nazi salute, according to police. Officers subdued and restrained the man without resistance. As he appeared to be in an exceptional mental state, emergency personnel and an emergency doctor were called, and he was taken to hospital. Criminal police are investigating.
