Man remanded after knife attack in Frankfurt

A 31-year-old man allegedly injured an acquaintance of the same age with a kitchen knife in Frankfurt-Niederrad. Police said the two had previously drunk alcohol together in Frankfurt-Bornheim and had argued. The suspect allegedly later went to the other man's home at Haardtwaldplatz, where another argument occurred. He is alleged to have taken a kitchen knife and injured the acquaintance. The injured man was treated in hospital for non-life-threatening injuries and was released. The suspect was arrested, and a judge issued a detention order on suspicion of attempted manslaughter and dangerous bodily harm.
