Man threatens supermarket employee with knife in Gelsenkirchen

An unidentified man is alleged to have stolen tobacco products from a supermarket in the Beckhausen district of Gelsenkirchen on 20 January. When an employee confronted him near the checkouts and told him to stop at around 6 p.m., the man pulled a knife from his jacket and threatened the employee with it. He left the store with the stolen goods and fled in a vehicle. Police are seeking witnesses.
