Man seriously injured in knife attack in Freiburg
A 29-year-old man was seriously injured in a knife attack in Freiburg on 6 September. According to current information, he met an unidentified man on the forecourt of a building near Schlossbergring in the early afternoon. The unidentified man allegedly attacked him without warning using a knife. The injured man escaped to Schlossbergring, while the attacker left toward Stadtgarten. The initial search was unsuccessful. Criminal police are investigating the circumstances and motive and are seeking witnesses.
