Armed group attempts to extort cash in Frankfurt
A group allegedly attacked a 39-year-old man in Meersburger Straße in Frankfurt-Fechenheim on 2 February during an arranged purchase of a mountain bike advertised online. At about 16:10, five to six partially masked men said to be around 18 allegedly threatened him with knives and a realistic-looking firearm, demanding the agreed purchase price. The victim did not hand over the money and disarmed one of the suspects. The group then fled. Criminal police are investigating and seeking information.
