Man threatens customer with switchblade at Rotenburg supermarket
At a supermarket on Harburger Straße in Rotenburg (Wümme), a 40-year-old man allegedly threatened a 37-year-old customer with a switchblade late on Monday afternoon. Police said the man approached the customer while holding the knife and then left the store. Officers located the intoxicated suspect nearby shortly afterwards and seized two knives. The two men are believed to have known each other; investigators are examining a dispute over smoking in the presence of children as a possible background.
