Knife attack after dispute at Frankfurt Central Station
Following a verbal dispute that then became physical, a 19-year-old is alleged to have attacked a 25-year-old man with a folding knife on platform 104 at Frankfurt Central Station on 12 March. The man sustained a deep cut and was taken to hospital. Several witnesses had previously tried to intervene in the dispute. The suspect was arrested and was due to be brought before a remand judge; federal police said the background to the confrontation remained under investigation.
