44-year-old seriously injured after stabbing attack in Cologne
A 44-year-old man was taken to hospital in serious condition and underwent emergency surgery after an argument in Cologne-Mülheim. Passers-by called emergency services at about 2:30 a.m. on 12 March after noticing the dispute near Keupstraße and Holweider Straße. According to initial findings, an unidentified man allegedly attacked the 44-year-old with a pointed object during the confrontation. The suspect then fled with a dog towards Schanzenstraße. Police and prosecutors set up a homicide investigation team and are seeking witnesses.
